June U.S. Manufacturing Shipments Increase

Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in June rose 1.1% from May to $551.9 billion. Wood product shipments dipped 1.3% in June to $12.9 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products decreased 1.0% from May to $6.16 billion.

New orders for all U.S. manufacturing increased 2.0% from May to $555.2 billion.  Furniture and related product orders in June grew 1.2% from the previous month to $6.2 billion.  See U.S. Census Bureau
