U.S. residential furniture factory orders in June declined 9% from May but rose 3% from the same month last year. Year-to-date orders dropped 2% compared to the same period in 2024.
Furniture shipments were 2% lower than May and were 2% below June 2024. Shipments decreased 1% through the first six months of 2025 compared to last year. Backlogs dropped 2% from the prior month and 8% from June 2024. See Smith Leonard
