U.S. construction spending in June was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.55 trillion, up 0.1% from May and 8.2% higher than the year prior. Private construction spending increased 0.4% from May to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.22 trillion. Residential levels for June rose 1.1% from the previous month to $763.4 billion and non-residential totals fell 0.7% from May to $451.8 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
