June Canadian Construction Investment Improves

Canadian building construction investment increased 2.8% from May to $21.4 billion (CAD) in June. Residential construction spending grew 3.8% to $15.0 billion. Seasonally adjusted single-family investment was 1.4% higher than May at $6.9 billion, and multi-unit levels rose 6.0% to $8.1 billion in June. Non-residential totals were $6.4 billion, up 0.4% from May. See Statistics Canada
