Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in July rose 0.5% from June to $577.2 billion. Wood product shipments were up 0.2% in July to $13.4 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products dipped 1.2% from June to $6.8 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing fell 2.1% from June to $579.4 billion in July. Furniture and related product orders decreased 1.2% to $6.6 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
