U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in July were 3.0% higher than the comparable month in 2019, but year-to-date totals dropped 2.9% from the year-ago period, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business member survey. Overall cabinet sales were down 5.8% from June.
Semi-custom sales rose 2.6% from June but declined 8.1% through the first seven months compared to 2019. Custom cabinetry sales fell 5.4% in July and year-to-date levels were 4% below 2019. Stock sales were 10.8% lower than June but were up 1% for the year. See KCMA
