The July seasonally adjusted S&P Global Mexico Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) was 53.2, growing 2.3 points from June and marking the most progress in more than seven years. Manufacturers reported significant growth in new orders and production.
The PMI index comprises five sub-indices tracking changes in new orders, output, employment, suppliers’ delivery times and stocks of raw materials. A reading above 50 indicates growth. See S&P Global
