Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in January totaled $612.9 billion, increasing 0.5% from December 2025. Wood product shipments rose 0.3% to $13.6 billion, while furniture and related product shipments fell 0.7% to $7.6 billion.
New manufacturing orders were 0.1% higher in January, reaching $620.1 billion month-over-month. Within this category, furniture and related product orders slipped 0.4% from December to $7.7 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
