Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in January rose 0.5% from December 2025 but decreased 4.6% from the same month in 2025 to $1.2 billion (CAD). Sales for building material dealers grew 1.3% from December and 0.1% from January 2025 to $3.9 billion. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $70.7 billion, up 1.1% from December and 1.5% from the same period in 2025. See Statistics Canada
