January Consumer Confidence Declines

U.S. consumer confidence in January registered at 107.1, dropping 1.9 points from December 2022, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index, measuring current business and labor market conditions, rose 3.5 points to 150.9 in January. The short-term outlook index for income, business and the labor markets fell 5.6 points from December to 77.8. See The Conference Board
