Canadian retail furniture store sales in January rose 8.5% from December 2021 to $1.2 billion (CAD) and soared 32.2% from the same month last year. Sales of building material dealers increased 8.9% from December to $4.3 billion and were 5.5% higher than the previous year.
Total Canadian retail sales improved 3.2% to $58.9 billion from December and were up 12.0% from January 2021. See Statistics Canada
