Tim Smiley has been named Director of Laboratory Services at the International Testing Center (ITC), replacing Rebecca Giles, who departed in May. Tim joined the lab staff in 2021 as the Quality Manager.
Elizabeth Baker is the new Laboratory Quality Manager. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Shepherd University and has more than seven years of clinical laboratory experience. Elizabeth most recently was Senior Laboratory Technician with Ecolab in Martinsburg, WV.
Sergio Alvarez has joined the staff as the new Laboratory Analyst. Sergio holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Arizona State University and previously held lab analyst and quality control positions with Joule Inc and Emergent BioSolutions. Sergio replaces Farna Ighani, who departed earlier this month. More Info: Andy O’Hare
