Interior Design Billings Fall in August

Interior design billings from the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) member-owned firms fell nearly five points in August, bringing the Interior Design Billings Index (IDBI) score to 51.6. Any score over 50 indicates growth. The Midwest led the three-month average at 60, with all regions registering in positive territory except for the Northeast which dropped below 50. The August index measuring inquiries decreased 1.3 points to 54.4, and the six-month outlook score shrunk 2.4 points from July to 61.3. See ASID
