Interior Design Billings Decrease Again in November

Interior design billings from the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) member-owned firms decreased half a point in November 2021, bringing the Interior Design Billings Index (IDBI) score to 52.2. Any score over 50 indicates growth. All geographic regions were above 50 for the first time since July 2020, with the South leading the three-month average at 54.2.

The October index measuring inquiries decreased 8.5 points to 48.1, the lowest reading since the beginning of the pandemic.  The six-month outlook dropped 2.6 points to 56.0, the lowest point since September 2020. See ASID
