Health Canada Finalizes Amendments to Formaldehyde Rule

Health Canada published final amendments to the Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products Regulations (CANFER) this week. These amendments incorporated several clarifications that CPA requested of Health Canada in comments filed on the proposal in August 2023. A detailed analysis of the amendments and their impact on the original regulation will be circulated to CPA members in the near future.
