Harvard Releases 2025 Remodeling Outlook

Annual U.S. home remodeling spending has remained above $600 billion since 2022, and expenditures are expected to exceed this amount in 2025, according to Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies. The increased spending is being driven by disaster-related repairs due to extreme weather events, aging housing inventory, and growth in home offices.
