From the President’s Desk

My how time flies.  I am now five weeks into my tenure at CPA.  I have spent the initial weeks meeting with CPA staff to get up to speed on the association programs and services.  I have also begun the process of meeting one-on-one with members.  These sessions have been very informative, providing me with a much better understanding of the individual company operations, products and philosophy, and also facilitating a discussion of the member’s views on what they most value from CPA membership.

While my first choice would be to meet all of you in person, we have decided to host a series of virtual events to best replicate a traditional Fall Meeting.  These events will include three General Sessions and all Board and Committee meetings taking place over a four-week period, beginning the week of September 21.  The three General Sessions will address the 2020 Elections, a 2021 economic forecast and strategies for effectively reaching architects and designers.
