Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in February were $596.8 billion, improving 0.7% from January. Wood product shipments decreased 0.5% to $13.1 billion from the previous month, and furniture and related products shipments declined 0.5% to $6.8 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing were $594.0 billion in February, 0.6% higher than the prior month. Furniture and related product orders totaled $6.8 billion, growing 0.4% from January. See U.S. Census Bureau
