U.S. residential furniture factory orders in February were $2.053 billion, decreasing 16.6% from the comparable month in 2022 but increasing 3.9% from January.
Furniture shipments dipped 6.5% from February 2022 to $2.444 billion but rose 1.7% from January. With shipments continuing to outpace new orders, February backlogs were 3.383 billion, declining 61.9% from last year and 6% from January. See Smith Leonard
