U.S. residential furniture factory orders in February were 2% higher than January but decreased 5% from the same month last year. Year-to-date orders were 4% lower than the comparable period in 2024.
Furniture shipments fell 8% from January and 5% from February 2024 but remained unchanged year-to-date. Backlogs increased 2% from the prior month but were 6% lower than February 2024. See Smith Leonard
