February Consumer Confidence Weakens

U.S. consumer confidence in February registered at 102.9, dropping 3.1 points from January, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index, measuring current business and labor market conditions, rose 1.7 points to 152.8 in February. The short-term outlook index for income, business and the labor markets declined 6.3 points from January to 69.7.
