February Architectural Billings Improve

The February Architecture Billings Index (ABI) rose 0.3 points to 51.3 according to The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Economics & Market Research Group. A score above 50 indicates growth in billings. Design contracts increased 0.9 points to 55.2 over January.

February billings were in positive territory for the South and Midwest only, while the Northeast experienced its sixth consecutive month of declines. Firms with Commercial/Industrial and Residential specializations saw billings improve in February. See AIA
