EU Publishes New Limits on Formaldehyde Emissions

The EU Commission last week finalized a formaldehyde emission limit under the European REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulation. A standard of 0.062 mg/m3 was adopted for composite wood products, which will be effective in three years.   See European Commission and Formacare Press Release
