EPA Extends Deadline for Plywood and Composite Wood Panel Regulations

The U.S. EPA’s motion to extend the deadline for finalizing the amended Plywood and Composite Wood Panel (PCWP) National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) from November 16, 2023, to June 30, 2026, was granted. In its unopposed motion filed on October 5, EPA stated that the extension is required to conduct additional work and analysis, including developing, publishing and seeking comment on a supplemental proposal.
