Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in December 2022 decreased 0.7% from November to $543.3 billion. Wood product shipments were down 0.6% in December to $12.7 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products were up 0.2% from November to $6.3 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing increased 1.8% from November to $552.5 billion in December. Furniture and related product orders grew 2.3% from November to $6.3 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
