CPA welcomed Andy O’Hare as the new President of the Association on August 3. Andy brings over 25 years of diverse association management experience to CPA and was most recently the Vice President of Public Policy at The Fertilizer Institute (TFI). Prior to TFI, Andy was the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Portland Cement Association. Andy’s lobbying efforts at both the federal and state level covering a wide range of issues, including environmental, health and safety and climate change will be a tremendous asset to CPA.
“I am delighted to begin my tenure with the Association and extend my warmest greetings to all of you,” said Andy. “As I conclude my first week, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with staff and begin the process of getting acquainted with the industry, issues and CPA organization generally, and my impressions are very favorable!
