Steve Canary, current CPA Vice Chairman, announced his retirement from Panolam Surface Systems effective January 31 after more than 17 years with the company. Steve, Panolam’s Senior Vice President of Engineered Products and Technology, has served in various CPA leadership roles since 2014 including the Executive Committee and Board of Directors as well as participating on the Production-Technical and EPAC Committees. “We thank Steve for his many contributions to the industry and CPA and wish him all the best as he makes this transition to the next chapter of his life,” says CPA President Andy O’Hare.
Chairman Dan Beaty of Langboard and Secretary/Treasurer Marla Chappell of Weyerhaeuser MDF will manage the association officer duties while the Vice Chairman role remains vacant for the time being. More Info: Andy O’Hare
