The 2022 CPA Spring Meeting at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point, CA, begins this weekend with over 300 attendees, guests and spouses representing nearly 110 companies.
The Spring Meeting program starts with the annual golf tournament on Sunday at 8 a.m. followed by the Welcome Reception at 6 p.m. The keynote presentation will be delivered by Brian Beaulieu, CEO and Chief Economist for ITR Economics during the General Session on Monday, May 2. The presentation will cover current economic indicators and an outlook on the economy and the broader industry. The General Session will begin with welcome remarks by CPA Chairman Steve Carroll of Arauco.
Tuesday’s General Session will include a presentation by John McDonald, CEO of Semihandmade, a lifestyle brand and custom cabinet manufacturer that has been named to Inc. Magazine’s fastest-growing private U.S. companies list each of the last five years. Semihandmade, and its new Boxi line, has been innovative in its origins of making custom fronts for IKEA cabinets. The company excels at creative marketing and social media strategies to specifiers which will be shared during the session.
Committee and Board of Directors meeting agendas and supporting documentation have been posted online. Attendees are encouraged to download materials from CPA’s website prior to attending the meeting. Meeting presentations will be available online by May 6.
