CPA Spring Meeting Begins Sunday

The 2023 CPA Spring Meeting at the Westin la Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ, begins this weekend with nearly 300 attendees, guests and spouses representing more than 100 companies.

The Spring Meeting program starts with the annual golf tournament on Sunday at 8 a.m., followed by the Welcome Reception at 6 p.m.  Frank Goecke, Director and Head of the Wood Products Team globally for Afry Management Consulting, is sharing a global overview and outlook for composite panels at the opening General Session on Monday, April 17. The General Session will begin with welcome remarks by CPA Chairman Dan Beaty of Langboard.

Abbe Will, Associate Project Director of the Remodeling Futures Program from Harvard University’s Center of Joint Housing Studies, will present at Tuesday’s General Session highlighting the remodeling outlook for U.S. homes.

During Monday’s EPAC meeting, Suzanne Hartigan, Senior Director for Regulatory and Scientific Affairs at the American Chemistry Council will share expectations for the TSCA Formaldehyde Risk Assessment and Clive Pennington, Managing Director of the European Panel Federation will provide an update on European policy priorities. During the Production-Technical Committee meeting, Hunter Morrison, Technical Director at Architectural Woodwork Institute will discuss AWI’s outreach and priorities.
