CPA published a revision to the “MDF Mouldings” technical bulletin. Originally created in 1998, this technical bulletin helps home builders, contractors, and DIYers, properly handle, cut, fasten, and finish MDF mouldings.
CPA also updated the “Particleboard Stair Tread for Manufactured Housing” technical bulletin, last printed in 1998. This bulletin reflects the general consensus among manufacturers about the recommended methods of installing particleboard stair tread for interior stair treads. The bulletin is applicable for stair treads used in manufactured housing and includes references to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s “Use of Materials Bulletin, 70B”. CPA is updating several technical bulletins to ensure procedural accuracy and marketplace relevance as part of the Production-Technical Committee’s Strategic Plan initiatives.
