CPA printed an updated version of the “Maintenance Tips for Engineered Wood Siding and Trim Technical Bulletin.” Originally created in 2012, this technical bulletin helps homeowners, contractors, maintenance personnel, and property managers understand when and how to refinish siding and trim. Procedures are provided for addressing mildew and other stains and preparing the surface for refinishing. Lastly, specific instructions are given for selecting and applying paint.
