CPA recently launched an initiative through the Digital Subcommittee to promote member involvement and volunteerism that fosters industry networking through LinkedIn. Members are encouraged to proudly display a custom “CPA badge” logo on their LinkedIn profile and add any volunteer positions on CPA boards, committees, subcommittees and task groups to enhance their professional experience.
To encourage participation, the Subcommittee created a contest to win a $150 Visa gift card. Members can earn multiple entries into the contest by adding both the badge logo (one entry) and CPA volunteer experience (one entry). A link to the enhanced LinkedIn profile page should be emailed to Anna Linehan. The deadline to enter is October 22 and the drawing will occur at the Fall Meeting on October 23.
