CPA recently launched an initiative through the Digital Subcommittee to promote member involvement and volunteerism that fosters industry networking through LinkedIn. Members are encouraged to proudly display a custom “CPA badge” logo on their LinkedIn profile and add any volunteer positions on CPA boards, committees, subcommittees and task groups to enhance their professional experience.
The Subcommittee created a contest to win a $150 Visa gift card to encourage participation. Members can earn multiple contest entries by adding both the badge logo (one entry) and CPA volunteer experience (one entry). A link to a member’s enhanced LinkedIn profile page should be emailed to Anna Linehan. The entry deadline is October 22, and the drawing will occur at the Fall Meeting on October 23.
