This week, CPA hosted its first informal U.S. House Congressional Caucus meeting that included several congressional staffers representing significant panel-producing constituencies. The meeting provided staffers with information about the association, panel manufacturing and consumption, and CPA policy priorities.
CPA intends to host the caucus annually, or more frequently as necessary, to build ongoing relationships with key House members to seek support for future priority policy outcomes. Going forward, CPA plans to include additional House members from districts with composite panel facilities to ensure a comprehensive national representation.
