CPA Comments on Proposed Canadian Clean Electricity Regulations

On October 30, CPA submitted comments on the proposed Canadian Clean Electricity Regulations (CER). The proposed CER establishes a national emission standard for electricity generation that generally favors non-emitting sources (solar, wind, water) but would allow for biomass-generated electricity. CPA’s comments focus on the potential impact of the use of biomass feedstock and any increased electricity rates on composite panel industry competitiveness. See CPA Comments.
