CPA 2024 Fall Meeting Begins Sunday

The 2024 CPA Fall Meeting at the Westin Hilton Head in South Carolina kicks off this weekend, welcoming over 200 attendees, guests, and spouses from more than 70 companies.

The Spring Meeting commences with the annual golf tournament on Sunday at 8:30 am, followed by the Welcome Reception at 6 pm. The Monday General Session will spotlight a panel discussion on wood industry carbon policy, featuring Alicia Cramer, Senior Vice President of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities, and Dr. Cynthia West, Director of the US Forest Service Forest Products Laboratory and Northern Research. The session will open with remarks from CPA Chair Marla Chappell of Weyerhaeuser.

On Tuesday, the General Session titled “Navigating the Future: Key Insights into Real Estate Markets” will be presented by Lesley Deutch, Managing Principal at Johns Burns Research and Consulting. During the Production-Technical Committee meeting, Travis Fields from Weyerhaeuser will introduce the organization’s 2023 Safety Innovation Award initiative, “Installation of Proximity Alert Warning System (PAWS).” Additionally, David Biggs, Director of Digital Strategy at Woodworking Network, will share the latest trends and engagement strategies from popular social media platforms during Monday’s Decorative Surfaces Council meeting.
