U.S. consumer confidence in March registered at 107.2, rising 1.5 points from the revised February figure, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index.  The index measuring current business and labor market conditions, rose 10 points from February to 153.0.  The short-term outlook for income, business and the labor market decreased 4.2 points in March to 76.6.
