Consumer Confidence Down in April

U.S. consumer confidence in April registered at 107.3, falling 0.3 points from the March figure, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index.  The index measuring current business and labor market conditions, dropped 1.2 points from March to 152.6.  The short-term outlook for income, business and the labor market increased 0.5 points in April to 77.2.
