U.S. construction spending in November 2023 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $2.0 trillion, growing 0.4% from October and 11.3% higher than November 2022. Year-to-date construction spending increased 6.2% to $1.8 trillion compared to the first eleven months of 2022.
Private construction spending was $1.6 trillion, climbing 0.7% from October. Residential totals were $896.8 billion in November, up 1.1% from the previous month. Non-residential spending was $698.2 billion, rising 0.2% from October. See U.S. Census Bureau
