Construction Investment Strengthens in Canada

Canadian building construction investment rose 5.3% from August to $18.9 billion (CAD) in September, with residential construction spending increasing 7.3% to $12.9 billion. Seasonally adjusted single-family construction spending was 6.4% higher than August at $6.3 billion. Multi-unit levels grew 8.2% to $6.6 billion in September.
