Canadian Wood Product Sales Improve in September

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in September were $3.1 billion (CAD), up 2.9% from August but 11.9% lower than last year’s comparable month. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.3 billion, dropping 0.6% from August and decreasing 3.5% over September 2022. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $72.8 billion, growing 3.3% from September 2022 and 0.4% from August. See Statistics Canada
