Canadian Wood Product Sales Improve in January

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in January were $3.5 billion (CAD), 0.8% higher than December 2024 and up 13.5% from the comparable month last year. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.2 billion, dipping 0.6% from December but increasing 0.5% from January. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $73.0 billion, growing 1.7% compared to December and rising 3.0% from the year prior. See Statistics Canada
