The seasonally adjusted December 2024 Canadian wood product sales were $3.5 billion (CAD), 1.5% higher than November and up 11.3% from the comparable month in 2023. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.2 billion, declining 4.7% from November and shrinking 8.5% from December 2023. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $71.4 billion, increasing 0.3% compared to November and 0.3% from the year prior.
For 2024, total manufacturing sales fell 2.1% to $847.2 over 2023, while wood products rose 3.4% for the year. See Statistics Canada
