Canadian Wood Product Sales Decline in November

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in November 2023 were $3.3 billion (CAD), improving 0.6% from October but 7.8% lower than the comparable month in 2022. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.3 billion, decreasing 1.5% from October and falling 6.6% over November 2022. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $71.7 billion, dipping 0.8% from November 2022 and 1.2% higher than October. See Statistics Canada
