Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in May grew 0.9% from April and 8.0% from the same month last year to $1.2 billion (CAD). Sales for building material dealers rose 1.9% from April and 2.8% from May 2024 to $4.0 billion. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $69.2 billion, down 1.1% from April but 4.9% higher than the same period in 2024. See Statistics Canada
