Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in April were unchanged from March but grew 5.1% from the same month last year to $1.2 billion (CAD). Sales for building material dealers dipped 0.4% from March and 1.5% from April 2024 to $3.9 billion. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $70.1 billion, up 0.3% from March and 5.0% higher than the same period in 2024. See Statistics Canada
