Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in July grew 1.3% from June and 5.1% from the same month last year to $1.2 billion (CAD). Sales for building material dealers dipped 2.1% from June but increased 5.7% from July 2024 to $4.0 billion. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $69.6 billion, down 0.8% from June but 4.0% higher than the same period in 2024. See Statistics Canada
