Canadian Residential Construction Investment Softens in April

Canadian building construction investment declined 2.0% from March to $20.5 billion (CAD) in April. Residential construction spending decreased 2.7% to $14.2 billion. Seasonally adjusted single-family investment was 4.7% lower than March at $6.9 billion, and multi-unit levels dipped 0.6% to $7.3 billion in April.
