Canadian Manufacturing Up in May

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in May were $2.15 billion, increasing 14.8% from April but down 12.2% from the comparable month last year. Furniture and related products rose 35.3% to $790 million from April but were 29.2% lower than May 2019. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries increased 10.7% from April to $40.1 billion but were down 31.6% from May 2019.  See Statistics Canada
