Canadian Manufacturing Rises in February

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in February were $4.5 billion (CAD), up 8.5% from January and 1.2% higher than the comparable month in 2021. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.3 billion, rising 4.5% from January and soaring 37.3% over February 2021. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries increased 4.2% from January to $67.7 billion and jumped 19.5% from February 2021.  See Statistics Canada
